Gait analysis is one of the most attractive applications of the Kinect sensor. Microsoft Research is actively involved in this field. Various methods like Virtual Skeleton have been implemented for this task.
Recently systems like Kinesthesia have been developed which are rehabilitation and Surgical Analysis Systems based on Kinect.
